Located 40 mins from Shiwa Ngwandu on the T2 between Mpika and Isoka, Mutambe Akasuba is located close to the main tar road. A sign for the lodge marks the turn on your right hand side. The drive to the lodge is a mere 10 minutes from the tar road, easily accessible for private vehicles. 

Buses to Nakonde, stop at neighbouring Matumbo village, leave daily from Lusaka providing an economical option for group travellers.  Onward transport can be provided by the lodge to and from Matumbo village. 

Shiwa Ngwandu's landing strip would provide the nearest opportunity for private charter planes, and onward transport from Shiwa can be arranged to and from the lodge.
