About

Mutambe Akasuba was built by Victoria Huwiler Findlay to create a space for various forms of healing, education and personal growth through a connection with nature and spirit.

Although Victoria worked as an educator and later as a business woman, her personal journey has been strongly influenced by the teachings of spiritual philosopher Omraam Mikheal Aivanhov. Victoria provides workshops in his meditation and spiritual practices at the lodge as well as access to a library with his books, and the books of various other spiritual thinkers.

The facility is open to all spiritual donominations. We welcome facilitators in various fields from psychology, yoga, wellness and various modalities of healing to use the facility in practices that  elevate conciousness.  The facility is also an ideal venue for NGOs and charities in the fields of conservation, poverty reduction, health and education.

Mutambe Akasuba was built to honour the life of Josef Niklaus Huwiler, who lost his battle to bipolar disorder in January 2018 and is fondly rememebered by his friends and family.
